BVM Contracting has been building quality and trust in the Toronto residential construction market for over 25 years, and we are constantly evolving as the home improvement needs of our clients change. We have officially entered the handyman services market in our direct service areas (which you can find below). We are hoping to help both our existing and new clients with their smaller home improvement needs in order to build customers for life and better utilize our in-house team of skilled labourers.
This service is currently only available in our direct service areas of Scarborough, East York, South East areas of North York, and Eastern areas of Toronto (East of the Don Valley Parkway). We have decided to create the service this way to prevent our team from getting stretched too thin and to provide a reliable and repeatable service in the neighbourhoods we are closest to.

Why did BVM Contracting decide to enter the handyman services market in toronto?
We are aiming to serve what we believe is an underserved handyman and home management market that deserves to have more options than what is currently available.
We have the in-house team of skilled labour that will be able to take on any number of different home improvement projects or provide a helping hand to home owners in Toronto. From their experience working on our complex residential construction projects you will be in good hands with one of our team members.
We want to build out our reputation in the areas that we service on the East end of Toronto and create customers for life. If we can help you with both the small projects as well as the big ones (which we are known for) it means that we can help out throughout the entire lifecycle of your homeownership!
What are your handyman service rates?
Our hourly rate ranges are as follows, and includes one team member’s labour for the duration provided for our local service area. Any materials/disposal needed will be added to the final quote for the work.
1 Hour (minimum): $70-100 + HST
4 Hours (Half-day): $250-340 + HST
8 Hours (Full-day) $480-560 + HST
For multiple/consecutive days of labour or mobilization of multiple team members, we provide custom quotes to suit the needs of our clients. Reach out below to inquire and receive a customized quote.
For more complex projects where you are unsure of the amount of time and materials needed, we can also offer a customized quote, reach out below to get the process started!
Additionally, we provide Landlord and Seniors (Age 65 +) discounts for our handyman and home management services, so if you are in either of those categories please reach out!

The list is not exhaustive and we evaluate new work and activities on a day-to-day basis to determine if our team will be able to execute to a high degree of satisfaction. If they are not able to we are also able to provide a referral to one of our skilled trades (i.e. Electrician, Plumber, HVAC, Masonry, etc.) so we can ensure that our extended network of subcontractors can help.
